Why people pirate movies

I think that people pirate movies because of the ridiculous cost of seeing the movie in a cinema.  Even at mid-day viewing, you are paying 6 USD to see something once, that could suck.  It’s not like people are really going to give you your money back and most movies take more than 15 minutes to figure out if they suck or not.

Maybe I would be okay with paying 6 USD if I didn’t have to pay almost 5 USD for a Vitiamin water I can get at the store for 1 USD.  Maybe they shouldn’t be charging 400% or more on the stock and people might go to the theater.  What if you were allowed to bring in your own bag of Skittles?

What if the cinema went away and everything was available for purchase on Blu-Ray or the internet?  I think the music industry is seeing more sales now that they have figured out people don’t want an entire album.

What’s your solution to the dying movie industry and the pirates of the internet?

Why do we have to lock our doors?

Scruff McGruff

What ever happened to the days where you left home without even thinking of locking your front door?  Are we to the point that we are always so scared that someone will violate our personal space at any given time that the last thing we think about before leaving home is securing it?

Where did the neighbourhood watches go?  What ever happened to Scruff McGruff from Chicago, Illinois?
